Vida Pearson's remarkably crafted, colourful bold linocuts derive from extensive studies of flora and fauna conducted on field trips in Australia and overseas. Vida's distinctive and unique work has earned hundreds of awards during her career which spans over 25 years.
In 2011, Vida embarked on another journey to source subject matter for her work. She firstly travelled to South Africa and explored Kruger National Park and then visited Madagascar spending five weeks in National Parks in pursuit of lemurs, chameleons and beautiful birds. Vida will be having an exhibition in May 2012 which will feature work inspired by this trip.
