Michel Morgan is a talent that has been discovered only recently. He gained much attention with his exhibition in 2011 in Geelong Fine Art School Boiler Room that provided a survey of his work over several years. He also took part in the major contemporary art project in Geelong - Peel Your Eyes exhibition that was held in former Dimmeyes Building in September 2011.
About his art Michael Morgan says: 'My art explores the interconnection on all levels with quantum science, fractals, and primitive culture. These are some influences on the way that I work'.
Michael has been working mostly in painting as well as mosaics using large formats. His experience also includes production of multi-media installations as part of Geelong Fine Art School projects.
Michael Morgan will be holding a solo exhibition at Steiglitz St. Thomas Church during the 4th Golden Plains Arts Trail on 24 and 25 March 2012.
