Lucy McEachern is a young artist who is quickly establishing herself as a leading sculptor of birds. Lucy draws inspiration from her home situated in rural Australia, Golden Plains Shire, South West Victoria. She has a deep affinity with the enchanting birds that inhabit the surrounding landscape.

2011 has been a very successful year for Lucy. She was selected to represent Australia at 'Birds in Art 2011',  a travelling exhibition in the United States of America. She attended the launch of the exhibition at Woodson Art Museum, Wausau, Wisconsin. Lucy also exhibited across Australia in 2011.

  • ‘Wine Makers Choice’ Yering Station Sculpture Prize, Yarra Valley, Victoria

  • Finalist in the Yering Station Sculpture Prize, Yering Station Yarra Glen, Victoria
  • Finalist in the ‘Agendo 2011’ Emerging Artist prize, The Abbotsford Convent Abbotsford, Melbourne.
  • Finalist in ‘The Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize’, South Australian Museum, Adelaide.
  • Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum ‘Birds in Art 2011’, Wausau, Wisconsin, United States of America
  • Finalist in the Lorne Sculpture Prize, Lorne, Victoria
  • Finalist in the Toorak Village Sculpture Prize, Melbourne, Victoria
